The Landscaped Area and Sports Facilities
The natural landscape of the area west of Iraklion is marked by steep slopes stretching down to the beach. The developer has engaged landscape architects who have produced plans to upgrade the project's environment, working hand in hand with the architects of the project. These plans include:

• creating 80,000 square meters of common green areas.
• transplanting 2.000 trees both within the development and along its boundaries. This includes a variety of indigenous trees such as palm trees, carob trees, fruit trees and even a few Venetian olive trees that are said to be over 100 years old. It is worth noting at this point, that while the site's total area is 165,000 square meters actual construction will cover only 40,000 square meters of this i.e. 25%. The remainder will be reserved for private and common green areas, sports facilities, roads, sidewalks, etc.
• creating water features, paths, bridges and gazebos complete with appropriate lighting.
• a tertiary sewage treatment plant for the recycling of wastewater for the purpose of irrigation.
• the special development of the 200 meter long beachfront pertaining to the site.
• the laying of underground utility lines and custom-designed street lighting.
• a children's playground, resting areas and sports grounds in specially designated and designed areas.
• Sports facilities including 3 floodlit tennis courts, a futsal pitch, a jogging track etc.
• two common use swimming pools with an area of approximately 300-400 square meters each. Both will enjoy support facilities such as a grill bar, car park, changing facilities etc.

The Project offers numerous sports facilities within its boundaries for the benefit of its residents.

• 3 floodlit tennis courts and 1 futsal pitch
• Extensive sandy beach with volley ball facilities

• Jogging tracks
• A wealthy fishing ground

Theseus has entered into a special relationship with the Crete Golf Club regarding its clients; facilitating their membership allowing them access to their facilities. In addition the project is only ten minutes drive from the Pantanassa marina.
