Facilities
The range of facilities made available at Theseus is really what give it the edge. They include:

• Commercial centre which, apart from commercial stores, will have a pharmacy, a first aid centre, etc.
• Two swimming pools open to residents.
• Sports facilities (tennis courts, futsal pitch, beach-volley courts, jogging tracks).
• Playgrounds.
• Green areas and leisure areas.
• A restaurant.
• Beach sports and a small marina.

Swimming Pool
There is one olympic size swimming pool (with adjoining children's pool) as well as auxiliary facilities (changing rooms, showers, toilets) that is already at the disposal of Theseus' residents.

It is located between the neighbourhoods of Aethra and Hippolitus on the lower reaches of the site.  A snack bar will be added to its facilities shortly.

The area surrounding the pool can be used by Theseus' residents as the venue of receptions, parties, gala dinners, etc. The unique view and the location of the pool guarantee relaxing days and unforgettable nights, with the bay of Iraklion in the background.

Green Areas
Next to each neighbourhood, there are green areas and small parks, which can be used by all the residents in Theseus, for relaxation or activity, according to everyone's particular needs.

Beach
In the southeastern part of the village, we have created a beautiful beach which, thanks to its orientation, is protected from the most prevalent winds. Therefore, the sea is usually calm and its waters always clear and tempting.
We have provided all the necessary facilities (changing rooms, showers, toilets), so that we can be sure that residents can enjoy the beach in comfort and safety.

The marina which has been constructed in  the vicinity also offers the residents the possibility to moor small boats.
Totally in harmony with its environment, the beach is the main meeting point for the residents during the summer. The clear sea, the brilliant sun and the comfort that the beach offers, create all the necessary conditions for everyone to have a great summer!

Playgrounds
Providing for Theseus' ...younger residents, we have created a playground very close to the Akamas neighbourhood.  There are also several common greens available for relaxation and play.
